A successful alliance between technical innovation and urban integration
The Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) represents an exemplary architectural achievement that perfectly illustrates the alliance between technical innovation and contextual integration. Designed by architect Mustapha Ben Jannet, this institutional building is distinguished by its thoughtful approach to the use of materials and its sensitivity to the urban environment.
The visual signature of the project lies in the expert use of aluminum supplied by TPR, a material chosen for its exceptional durability and aesthetic versatility. The architect exploited the multiple possibilities offered by this material to create a sophisticated architectural envelope that harmoniously interacts with its context.
TPR aluminum solutions at the service of performance and identity
Aluminum facades are the main element of this architectural composition, offering a contemporary aesthetic while ensuring excellent thermal performance. Sun shades, also made of aluminum, play a crucial role in the thermal regulation of the building, making it possible to control the solar contribution according to the orientations and the seasons, thus contributing to overall energy efficiency.
Aluminum fences represent another distinctive element of the project, creating a subtle play of light and shadow that animates the facades throughout the day. These architectural elements, inspired by traditional patterns reinterpreted in a contemporary language, ensure both a visual filtering function and a strong cultural identity.
All of these aluminum components were designed to guarantee the longevity of the building, reducing maintenance needs while maintaining its aesthetic qualities in the face of sometimes severe weather conditions. This sustainable approach to architectural design makes CEPEX a successful example of contemporary institutional architecture rooted in its Tunisian context.
