A financial symbol at the heart of a new economic hub
The headquarters of the Tunis Stock Exchange, located strategically in the Berges du Lac 2 business district, represents an iconic architectural achievement designed by architects Mourad Zoghlami and Mohamed Ali Ben Soltane. Inaugurated in December 2010, this contemporary building marks the symbolic shift of the financial heart of Tunis from the city center to this new dynamic economic hub.
The building is distinguished by its resolutely modern architecture that visually conveys the importance and role of this institution in the Tunisian economy. The facade, made with the TPR curtain wall system, is the signature element of the building, offering a transparent and luminous envelope that symbolizes the openness and transparency of financial markets.
Glass architecture at the service of performance
The architects designed this building as an urban landmark in this new business district, with a balanced volume and careful proportions that affirm its presence without ostentation. The use of TPR solutions for facades has made it possible to create an elegant and efficient glass skin, ensuring both a contemporary aesthetic and excellent performance in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation.
The interior spaces have been designed to meet the specific functional requirements of a modern stock exchange, integrating the most advanced technologies while offering comfortable and stimulating working environments. The generosity of the glass surfaces allows an optimal supply of natural light, contributing to the well-being of the occupants and to the energy efficiency of the building.
Mourad Zoghlami, winner of the National Architecture Prize in 2010, brought to this project his recognized expertise in the design of large-scale institutional buildings. His association with Mohamed Ali Ben Soltane has made it possible to create an architectural work that successfully combines functionality, technical innovation and contemporary aesthetic expression.
This building fits harmoniously into the urban development of the Berges du Lac, actively participating in the creation of a new economic center for the Tunisian capital.
