An architectural dialogue between land and sea
The Waterfront project is an exceptional architectural achievement designed by the architect Bilel Khemakhem and his agency ARK-architecture. Ideally located on the seafront in Gammarth, this contemporary building takes full advantage of its privileged location to offer a unique experience between land and sea.
The TPR curtain wall facade, a true signature of the project, creates a constant dialogue with the Mediterranean horizon thanks to its large glass surfaces that maximize panoramic views and the contribution of natural light. This transparent envelope, with optimal thermal and acoustic performances, ensures remarkable interior comfort all year round, despite maritime exposure.
Technical solutions adapted to the marine environment
The architect designed the interior spaces to promote a permanent visual connection with the sea, while maintaining the privacy of the occupants. The fluidity of the circulations and the generosity of the volumes create an atmosphere that is both luxurious and soothing, in perfect harmony with the maritime environment.
The materials selected for this project - glass, aluminum and concrete - are treated to withstand the particular climatic conditions of the seaside while maintaining their aesthetic qualities over time. The TPR technical solutions used for the facade offer excellent resistance to saline corrosion while guaranteeing optimal energy performance.
This integrated approach to architectural design reflects a thorough reflection on the specificities of the site and environmental constraints. TPR aluminum systems have been selected not only for their aesthetic qualities but also for their ability to withstand demanding maritime conditions, thus guaranteeing the sustainability of the building.
Waterfront perfectly embodies Bilel Khemakhem's architectural vision, which combines contemporary aesthetics, technical innovation and respect for the site to create living spaces in perfect symbiosis with their environment. This project illustrates how technical excellence can serve a strong architectural ambition, resulting in a building that is establishing itself as a reference in terms of contemporary coastal architecture.
