Architecture inspired by textile identity
The Zen Group headquarters is an iconic architectural project that serves as the headquarters of a group of companies with the textile sector as their main activity. Located in Sfax in Tunisia, this contemporary 6,500 m² building was designed to reflect the identity and values of the company.
The team of architects, led by Bilel Khemakhem (ARK-Architecture) in collaboration with Mohammed Khemakhem and Nejib Saadallah (AUDA), carried out an in-depth study of the history, foundations and future perspectives of the Zen group in order to create a close link with its vocations, mainly in the textile sector. This approach has made it possible to develop an architectural concept that transcends simple construction to become a true expression of the company's identity.
Innovation and symbolism: TPR aluminium facades
The building is distinguished by its contemporary architecture with clean lines and its TPR aluminum facades that offer a subtle play of transparency and opacity. This outer shell evokes the weaving and textures specific to the textile industry, creating a strong and recognizable visual identity.
Aluminum facades thus become a real architectural language, symbolizing the intertwined threads of textiles produced by the Zen group. Each element of the structure interacts with the history and vision of the company, transforming the building into an architectural manifesto.
The interior spaces, also designed by ARK-architecture, combine functionality and aesthetics with particular attention paid to natural light and the fluidity of circulation. This project perfectly embodies the symbiosis between contemporary architecture and corporate identity, demonstrating how a building can be much more than just a workspace.
